We are the second largest public school system in the state of South Dakota as well as the second largest employer in the city. We employ approximately 1,600 dedicated staff members who serve over 13,000 students.

Our post-secondary school (WDTI) employs about 120 administrators, instructors and support personnel who serve over 1000 students.
